Courant recently launched its idea of what a MagSafe-compatible charger should look like with the MAG:1 Classics and Essentials.

The launch of Courant’s MAG charging lineup includes two new products designed specifically for those who value product forms that enhance productivity and keep you powered up while looking sophisticated anywhere in your home. Both MAG products are available in two materials (Belgian linen and Italian leather) and eight beautiful, neutral colors. They are fully compatible with iPhones 12 and above. The lineup includes:

MAG:1 – Courant’s first magnetic wireless charger, MAG:1 showcases the evolution of the brand’s wireless capabilities and reflects Apple’s latest technology developments. Offering snap-to functionality, it features a matte-touch coating, color-matched cable, and weighted non-slip construction, allowing it to seamlessly blend into any environment.

MAG:2 – A wireless, vertical charging stand that simultaneously charges your AirPods in the base, MAG:2 keeps you hands-free while you cook a recipe, stream, or FaceTime. This vertical charging form was long requested by Courant’s community, with an elevated design that mimics a laptop.

I love the pebbled Italian leather that offers a nice visual contrast, especially on the saddle, ash, and cortado colors.

Courant has also launched its next product in its magnetic lineup with the MAG:2 – it’s got a uniquely sharp design.

The real draw for me here was that I was investing in a piece of luggage that would last me a long time. After a few trips, I am constantly having to replace my luggage because it has been damaged. Once I got the luggage, I loved the look of it and it was time to take it on my first trip, as I headed off to Dallas for the Dallas Auto Show. I got a lot of comments at the airport about where did I get my luggage. I told a lot of people about the Roam line. The best part was waiting for it when it came down the carousel, and fully realizing that no one had bright purple and gold.

The safety features are more than worthwhile to focus on, too. Back to School with Citizen CZ Smart

It is back to school time, what a better way to send your children off than with a Citizen CZ Smart Watch.

The Citizen CZ Smart Smartwatch is a very cool watch with a number of great features. Not only does it run on the full-featured Wear OS platform (from Google) that can connect to your Android or iOS-based smartphone so you can receive notifications of things like incoming texts, calls, and emails, but it’s also a very attractive watch aesthetically.

Each of the versions is meant to look more like a classic Citizen sports watch than anything. The retro-vibe of the case and bezel design work in its favor, with the ultra-modernity of the touchscreen.

The CZ Smart case is 46mm-wide in steel, with one version in IP-coated black color, while each has a distinctive color palette for aluminum bezel insert. The case finishing is very good for a smartwatch, and part of what Citizen brings to the table. If you want a full-fledged smartwatch that doesn’t wear as thick as the competition, the CZ Smart is a great choice.

Over the screen is a Gorilla Glass crystal. The screen is bright and sharp. The screen is also responsive. Citizen does a great thing by using the crown as a scrolling input device. Citizen packs most of the sensors that consumers expect in a smartwatch into the CZ Smart. That includes GPS, as well as a heart-rate monitor. The latter is very important to those who rely on their smartwatch for fitness activities. The CZ Smartwatch charges wirelessly via a magnetic charging dock and has battery life on par with other watches.

The CZ Smart has an always-on screen state that is a low-resolution, low-power state for the dial. Depending on the selected watch face, the always-on state will be different. The quality and execution are well-done.

Citizen has done a great job with the CZ Smart. It looks great on the wrist and is a solid product. Citizen CZ Smart was just how light it felt. Though it is listed as weighing 150 grams, it certainly doesn’t feel like it. It wore light and comfortable on the wrist.

The CZ Smart is a great smartwatch for anyone who wants to have a watch that can basically do anything and everything a smartphone can do. This is the perfect gift to send your children off to school with.
