Have you gone to Burlington lately? I was asked to go to Burlington and check out their end-of-summer clearance sale. I wasn’t sure what to expect. I didn’t ever really consider Burlington as a place to go for clothes.
This end-of-summer clearance is perfect for me since here in the South it does not get cold. These deals with keep me looking good until the weather turns cooler.
I told one of my friends I was heading to Burlington to shop and she said I get many of my home goods from them. The quality of their clothes is excellent, and I am sure to find some good options.
My eagerness to get there and start shopping was growing. My goal: to see all that I could purchase with my gift card. I immediately headed to the Blazers and Tops. I wanted to add a few of these to my wardrobe. I actually saw a few pieces that I had my eye on at an online store but did not want to spend that much cash. I am happy to say that I bought a few tops for just $30.
I found myself in the middle of summer fashion. They had so many florals, prints, and colors. I wanted them all. I had to remember what I wanted to compliment the items I already had in my wardrobe.
The key is knowing when to hit your local Burlington will make the difference. I found the best day to go is Saturday in the morning. They have new inventory and the crowd is not yet there. You will have time to look and avoid the long checkout line.
Not only does Burlington have great clothes, but they are also a national non-profit partner with AdoptAClassroom.org. If you make a donation it will help provide local students with classroom supplies they need to succeed in their education. I love this concept as education is a very important initiative for me.
If you have uncovered a hidden treasure at Burlington, let me know.
