When I get home after a long day of errands or working at home, the first thing I want to do is put on my comfiest pajamas or loungewear the second I walk through the door. I know that I am not the only one feeling that way these days. We all are looking for a warm and cozy way for us to feel safe.

So, I was hooked when I read that KicKee Pants, a family-run and family-oriented company, creates all of their cute clothes and accessories for adults also. KicKee pants are known for their children’s clothing but they have a line for adults also.

I was pleasantly surprised. This 13-year-old brand produces a bevy of products for the entire family but for me, it was the family pajamas that caught my attention. They had me the moment I felt the proprietary bamboo sourced viscose fabric: incredibly soft, moisture-wicking, temperature control and, designed in original prints.

Besides having the best pajamas the most compelling aspect of this west coast family-owned company is their huge commitment to sustainability, community, and comfort. Their entire mission is founded on the premise of giving. Focused 100% on the customer’s needs from childhood, maternity, parenthood, and beyond, it’s all about flexibility, feeling, and, family.

Kickee’s children’s line has inspired relatively new adult styles. Women began to ask for them in adult sizes.  On their own, women have created self-formed private online groups, such as Kickee Village on Facebook. Here they share pictures of their kids and themselves in Kickee pajamas.

I also fell in love with the print Ruffle Apron in Crimson Holiday Plaid. Whether you  are entertaining adults or educating little ones, an apron is your best defense against stains and  splatters. The ruffle apron is made from 100% woven Bamboo fabric that feels like cotton. The front pocket keeps recipe cards handy and the ties at the neck and back adjust for a personalized fit.  I love how it looks while I am in the kitchen.

One of my favorite brands has released their annual gift sets. If you ask anyone their favorite Kiehl’s product, chances are they will have an answer. I personally love buying gift sets for Christmas because it means the recipient either gets to be stocked up on their favorites or they get to try something new, not to mention the gift boxes themselves are utterly gorgeous and great to keep little things in. This set is great for skincare lovers or, someone looking to get into skincare, including a deep pore mask, calendula toner, the calendula face wash, and Ultra Facial Cream.

When applying makeup, I always use Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream first. The best start to a good makeup look is good skin and this Kiehl’s moisturizer works the best.

Would you believe me when I say that this toner has been around for a while?  I’m not one to use old-school skincare but this toner is pretty incredible. It’s such a modern formula. You  would have thought it just came out. Toners in general are pretty underrated and if you can splash out on an extensive routine then I would suggest using a toner because they help all of your other skincare work better. It’s really simple. This is an alcohol-free toner formula that contains handpicked Calendula flower petals and great root extract to gently cleanse and rejuvenate all skin types.

I also love that this holiday season, Kiehl’s has partnered with Feeding America to bring awareness to the issue of food insecurity and help families in need to create holiday meal memories. Continuing its philanthropic tradition for the 7th year, Kiehl’s has helped donate over 7 million meals to Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization.

From November 16th to December 30th, customers can donate nonperishable food items at select Kiehl’s stores for Feeding America Canned Food at participating locations. For every item donated, customers will receive two Kiehl’s samples. Customers can also donate directly to Feeding America at checkout with every in-store purchase.
