Everplush Brings the Perfect Pieces Into Your Home

If you are like me you know that absorbent towels don’t dry quickly and quick-dry towels don’t absorb a lot of water. Now there’s a towel that absorbs a lot of water and dries very quickly, and drying off will never be the same. Everplush, had originally launched the site years ago to introduce patented towel technology, with the clear benefits of being always absorbent, quick-drying. and long-lasting. They wanted to introduce the technology to the traditional brick/motor retailers as an exciting, innovative approach to towels, but those retailers were resistant to change. Most towels at places like Target, Bed Bath, Walmart and, Costco are all actually made by a handful industry suppliers and new manufacturers like Everplush are met with a lot of resistance-both from retailers who don’t want to challenge the status quo and take a risk, and from competitor suppliers who don’t want to see any disruption in their relationships with retail buyers. As a company, we feel that the industry needs to focus on the user experience.

Everplush also did a lot of market research to understand where Everplush is positioned. What we realized was that a majority of what you see for towels and bedding at mass retail is the same product with slightly different marketing. There are few (if any) national brands of towels so when you go to the store, you’re buying into the retailers’ private labels and are subject to their selection. Most towels are majority cotton and everything can be categorized into two choices.

  • Choice A is a towel that is super fluffy and absorbent but doesn’t dry quickly.
  • Choice B is a towel that will dry quickly (quick-dry towels), but isn’t very fluffy and is not very absorbent.

Everplush is the Choice C – a towel that is super soft, always absorbent, and quick-drying. We’ve tested dozens of competitor towels and none compare to Everplush.

When Covid-19 impacted their normal business back in March, they made a conscious choice to transform our Everplush.com website into the voice of our factory, connecting consumers like you and your audience with products made and sold by us. Every item in our line is made in our owned factories and over 99% of our product line is vertically integrated: we spin the yarns, weave/knit, cut/sew, dye, export, and import to the US all within our company. No outsourcing needed!

Since March, they are  in constant launch mode, adding all our product lines to the site and building it out as fast as we can, and the customer response has been overwhelmingly positive! We’re fully embracing the opportunity to share more than Everplush bath towels and to earn trust with consumers, not only in their bathroom, but in their kitchen, in their bedroom, on their floor, in their garage, on their pet, and recently on their face (we’ve been making civilian masks in China since 2006 and medical-grade KN95 masks since 2016 and launched the entire collection in mid-April).

Hatch Brings Restful Sleep to All

Hatch, which is maybe best recognized for its baby-focused products, is turning its focus to grown-ups. It made a smart rest light called Restore, with the purpose of helping people drop off even more quickly as well as obtain a better night’s rest. With everything going on sleep is one thing that we can’t afford to lose.

Babies, kids, adults… everyone feels better after a good night of sleep. And Hatch knows sleep — it’s helped over half a million families sleep better, and they’re just getting started. Originally inspired by new parents and their babies, Hatch has evolved its suite of smart sleep products to help humans of all ages and stages develop — and maintain — natural, healthy sleep habits.

In these unprecedented times, Hatch has become a wellness resource for those who are looking for a good night’s sleep. This past May, Hatch expanded its suite of products to release Hatch Restore, its first fully-customizable product geared toward helping adults sleep well. With the nation’s renewed focus on health, sleep, and overall wellness for all members of the family, Hatch is hopeful that its suite of products will be a welcome solution for those looking to improve their sleep habits.

I have had trouble with sleep for years, so I was excited to test this out.

It’s is the tool all-in-one sleep system. Functions consist of an analysis light with lowered blue light, comforting sounds (like white noise, wind as well as water), and also a light-based alarm that simulates the sunup. You can personalize a sleep regimen through a mobile app or on the tool itself.

The Hatch Rest is a combination of a few things:

  • A sound machine (aka white noise machine)
  • A nightlight
  • A time-to-rise / time-to-wake system for toddlers and older kids
  • An iOS/Android app that allows you to control the Rest from your phone (only via Bluetooth for the Rest)

The Rest and Rest+ bring with them a selection of 8 white noise options (from rain to wind to ocean waves) and 3 lullaby tunes.

If you’re like me, you believe that color matters and soft colors with red hues can help with sleep. Secondly, brightness, and the ability to control brightness, is super helpful. Nightlights can have several applications with babies and young kids; a reading light before bed, a middle-of-the-night feeding light for young babies, and all-night-long comfort light for older kids with Hatch Rest/+, you have the ability to control color to an infinite degree using a color wheel in the app and an LED bulb that can produce any color in the rainbow. Additionally, you can control the brightness level with the push of a virtual button

Especially kids who are too young to tell time, even with a digital clock. With a time-to-rise system, you use another system to visually tell kids it’s time to get up or it’s too early to come to see what is going on. With Rest, you can program a time to rise that changes the color of the Rest’s nightlight from, say, red to green. You can also build in sound if you want it to be a true alarm clock, or keep sound levels the same if you don’t want to let your child wake up on their own.

The Rest/Rest Plus has some physical controls, but they can both be controlled, and programmed, with a smartphone app. The app allows you to turn the machine on and off, set color, brightness, and white noise. But, Rest products take it a step further by allowing you to program different combinations of these things at different times of day/days of the week—scheduling bedtimes, wake times, and naps.

On the device, you’ll find volume and brightness up/down buttons; turn either one up or down easily with the push of a button. Plus, on top of the device you’ll find a ‘touch ring’ (a metal band around the top), which can be used to turn on and off the device, and cycle through any pre-set color and sound combinations you’ve programmed with your app.

Do I recommend, the Hatch? Absolutely! As I said, the Hatch is multi-functional, easy to use, and is available at a great price.

Rodan + Fields Brings Two New Product to Your Beauty Routine

Working from home, I don’t worry a whole lot about my appearance, but I will admit, even when I put in the effort, I often still look tired. Who doesn’t feel they look tired most of the time? We have so much going on, and do not get enough rest and look exhausted because of it.

I was interested to try the two products from Rodan + Fields.

Rodan + Fields (R+F) is a skincare brand that has expanded rapidly through direct selling and an army of consultants. They have items in their line that boost skin tone, control breakouts, and tackle signs of aging.

Active Hydration Bright Eye Complex

I have tried a few eye treatments in the past, but most irritated my eyes or I never saw any results.

Rodan + Fields Active Hydration Bright Eye Complex is designed to brighten the under-eye area, and after just one week, it did start to do that. I  am looking forward to using this product every day.

My worry with anything new around my eyes, as always, will I be sensitive to the product? Luckily, I was not. The Active Hydration Bright Eye Complex is a lightweight cream that requires only a very small dot to cover the under-eye area twice a day, morning and night. It was simple to add to my daily routine. Rodan + Fields Bright Eye Complex is infused with three times more hydrating effect of glycerin compared to most other eye creams. This product has a sheer and lightweight consistency that makes it capable of blending easily with your skin. The formula has been guaranteed to be oil-free and shouldn’t leave oily and combination skin types with greasy skin.

Active Hydration Serum

Rodan + Fields Active Hydration Serum works immediately, lasts all day, and most importantly, builds moisture over time. It’s a layering super-serum that utilizes Rodan + Field’s proprietary 3D3P Molecular Matrix that acts as your skin’s personal water reservoir, drawing and locking in moisture from the air to nourish and replenish your skin as needed.

The little roller has been a bit of an adventure to use. The sensation kind of surprised me at first, but I quickly got used to the feeling and now look forward to ‘rolling’ at night. You move in up/down and side-to-side motions and the process only takes one minute to cover the entire face. It needs to be rinsed with warm water after each use and submerged into an effervescent tablet solution twice a week.

It has been a process getting my skin used to that level of moisture.  It was as if the skin was absorbing it very slowly. The product never sat on my skin and looked greasy. After a month of use, the clear serum formula is absorbed right away – as if my skin recalibrated & now accepts the product very well. I’m really enjoying the consistency of the lightweight formula – no residue on my fingers and my skin drinks it right up. I shouldn’t call it ‘lightweight’ though, because the product is actually quite an intense moisturizer! Plus, the cool applicator tool distributes the exact right amount for each use. My internal image of skin “dullness” is gone and the pesky flaky patches have vanished.
