@MomsTrends #TravelTrend. Travel Trends with MomTrends
On April 28th, 2014, I was invited to an event hosted by Momtrends to discuss the latest travel trends that would help to make travel easier for moms. This event was held at the Butterfly Studio in New York. This is event was one that I had been looking forward to for weeks.
When I arrived, I was greeted by the professional hairstylists from the Butterfly Studio. The stylist wanted to know what I would like to do with my hair, and I told her I just wanted a little change and a way to do it quick when I did not have time in the morning. She did a quick braid on the side and told me the great uses of dry shampoo. I love what she did and it really made me feel different.
Next stop was to try the ice cream from Adirondack Creamery. It was light and just plain good. They have a ton of New York locations. Check out their website and read all about them at Adirondackcreamery.com.
The people from Trunki were also there to introduce their new water-resistant backpacks for children called the PaddlePak. These are so light weight and durable that your kids will love them. They come in a variety of shapes, and colors, to delight any child. they are also very reasonable ranging from $25-$30. Check out their line of products at Trunki.com.
Next stop was Miralesuit, here I met Sandra who I helped with the new Fuji water bottle cap and became her #day2 #100happy day person. It was great to make someone’s day. These ladies were great. They had a ton of swimsuits, and sarons. These suits are made to look like you are 10 pounds lighter. Some of our bloggers did a fashion show for us and they all looked amazing. Check them out at Miraclesuit.com
Now that we are talking about travel getting baby around because a big topic that is why we had one of the outstanding brands Britax. Kate always demonstrates the newest baby gear and accessories for parents. They products are so durable and lightweight that you will not struggle to fold it up like with other strollers. They were there to introduce the new BOB stroller. It has an expandable handle and a handle brake for the jogging parents. I always love seeing what they come up with. Check out all there products at Britax.com
This was a wonderful night for all of us. Sponsors and gift bags were amazing. Thank you Nicole and Sherri for all your work and a wonderful informative night.

Amazing Spiderman 2 Red Carpet Event
I was lucky enough to be able to attend my first red carpet premier on Thursday, April 24th, 2014. The premier was held at the Ziegfeld in New York. When I arrived at the location I was greeted with a long red carpet and rows of television cameras along the path that the stars would walk. I was able to sit in one of the bleachers overlooking the red carpet it was a dazzling night. We waited in anticipation of the arrival of the stars and Spiderman.
While we waited we were treated to a ton of freebies, from water to masks, when Spiderman arrived he came in on the top of a Post Office truck. Andrew Garfield who plays Spiderman in the movie came in on a school bus with students from across the city, he then went around taking selfies with all the adoring fans. It was such a joy to watch. We got to see the other stars arrive also, Sally Field, who is playing Aunt May in the movie, as well as Jamie Foxx who gets to play a villain. He was cute carrying his daughter down the red carpet.
After the Red Carpet we headed over to Sony to view the movie. The kids were treated to video games, and we had pizza and got ready to view. The movie was awesome. The best part was getting to watch it with so many people that were all having such a good time.
It was an amazing night!!!
I was lucky enough to be able to attend this event because of The Moms.
