XCVI Clothing is a brand that prides itself on being the “fashion you can live in.” They design their clothing with versatility and comfort in mind. This is not a fast-fashion or trend-obsessed brand.
In 1996 ( Roman numeral- xcvi) Gita Zeltzer and her husband opened up a small boutique in Los Angeles, XCVI was born. She had begun thinking of ideas for XCVI in the 1990s and “together with designer Lilia Gorodnitski, they manifested a shared vision: to develop wearable, breathable, movable clothing for women who believe in style, but also believe in comfort.”
It was important for Gita, who was a theatre actress, to be able to express her creativity in Fashion, but wanted to create clothing that was not considered “sloppy” or Ill-fitting. Casual did not have to mean boring! So, with this in mind, XCVI has been in business for over 20 years helping women find ” wearable, breathable, moveable clothing” that is also stylish and comfortable.
The CORE collection is comprised of 10 KEY pieces, that can be worn mixed and matched with other tops, that form the basis of the Core wardrobe. There are 6 colors in the Core collection- white, beige, black, navy, olive, and grey.
I love the 2 piece loungewear outfit. The weather here does not get that cold, so I love that I can simply put this outfit on and run errands. It’s the perfect combo of livable and luxurious.
An added bonus is that we donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of our CORE collection to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
