A couple of weeks ago I was invited to a great event by Toys R Us to join them in celebrating the 5th anniversary of its exclusive award-winning Journey Girls brand with an updated collection of on-trend fashions tailored to an all-new Italian adventures. In the five years since the brand’s inception Journey Girls characters have traveled 20,000 miles around the globe, from London to Paris and now Italy, adding to their individual and collective backstory.
The setting of the event was all catered to focus on an Italian adventure. The attendees got to make their own cannoli, luggage tags and to take their picture with an Italian background. Each girl can choose from a variety of dolls: Chavone, the multitalented performer; Callier, and aspiring dancer; Dana, the animal lover; Kelsey, who seeks out exciting new adventures; Kyla, an amazing artist; Meredith, the energetic team athlete; and Mikaella, the newest to the collection who loves cooking and baking.
To coincide with the launch of the 2015 collections, customers will find new Journey Girls accessories, including a Best in Class School Set, Birthday Celebration Set and Pet Grooming Set, which will debut this fall.
The dolls are very affordable costing only $39.00 and with a great range of dolls to choose from you and find the one that fits for your child. I also love that these dolls take you on a European vacation, I think it is great way to teach children about the world we live in. If you are going to get the new Italian adventure dolls, I suggest to check out this site to learn about ways to incorporate Italian history to your child.
These dolls also feature some great accessories, so check back on my blog later to learn more about those. You are going to love it. Toys R Us would love to hear about your experiences with Journey Girls so visit them on Instagram and Twitter at @ToysRUs and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/toysrus. Let them know what you think and share your travels with your doll.
When I was younger I traveled with my family, I was not always fond of traveling I liked to be at home. When I got older and started to travel to Europe with younger sister I loved see the sites and learning about countries and I wish I had a doll to take with me.
