Los Angeles based fashion industry executive, JoAnne Wannarachue Lord, started her career in San Francisco, California on the wholesale side of the business representing Accessories and Jewelry lines after graduating from the University of Washington in Seattle. After a few years, JWL transitioned into the retail buying world and worked her way up the corporate ladder as Buyer, Divisional Merchandise Manager, General Merchandise Manager, and VP of Merchandising for companies including Urban Outfitters, Guess by Marciano, Bebe, and New York & Company.

The holidays are the most stressful time of the year, and especially this year. We have not been taking care of our skin; especially our feet the right way. Holiday Gift Guide-Women-KIEHL’S HOLIDAY COLLECTION

One of my favorite brands has released their annual gift sets. If you ask anyone their favorite Kiehl’s product, chances are they will have an answer. I personally love buying gift sets for Christmas because it means the recipient either gets to be stocked up on their favorites or they get to try something new, not to mention the gift boxes themselves are utterly gorgeous and great to keep little things in. This set is great for skincare lovers or, someone looking to get into skincare, including a deep pore mask, calendula toner, the calendula face wash, and Ultra Facial Cream.

When applying makeup, I always use Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream first. The best start to a good makeup look is good skin and this Kiehl’s moisturizer works the best.

Would you believe me when I say that this toner has been around for a while?  I’m not one to use old-school skincare but this toner is pretty incredible. It’s such a modern formula. You  would have thought it just came out. Toners in general are pretty underrated and if you can splash out on an extensive routine then I would suggest using a toner because they help all of your other skincare work better. It’s really simple. This is an alcohol-free toner formula that contains handpicked Calendula flower petals and great root extract to gently cleanse and rejuvenate all skin types.

I also love that this holiday season, Kiehl’s has partnered with Feeding America to bring awareness to the issue of food insecurity and help families in need to create holiday meal memories. Continuing its philanthropic tradition for the 7th year, Kiehl’s has helped donate over 7 million meals to Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization.

From November 16th to December 30th, customers can donate nonperishable food items at select Kiehl’s stores for Feeding America Canned Food at participating locations. For every item donated, customers will receive two Kiehl’s samples. Customers can also donate directly to Feeding America at checkout with every in-store purchase.
