Secret Launches Freshies Deodorants

Secret just launched Freshies, the most pictured deodorant, not to mention totally functional, purse/travel friendly antiperspirant in four scents ($4.99 each). Available in Invisible Solid, this mini antiperspirant & deodorant comes in scents, Cool Waterlily, Luxe Lavender, Chill Ocean and Paris Rose. It’s the easiest and most inconspicuous/discreet bag deodorant for anyone on the go. It looks like EOS lip balm packaging.

Secret is the brand that is created specifically for women and the only antiperspirant/deodorant brand, which I thought was pretty cool. They have three lines that were the focus of the event. Freshies, which are great for touchups and everyday, Clinical which is for heavy sweaters and anyone going through hormonal change  and Active, which is for active lifestyles and workouts. Secret continues to add to their long list of products.

The Secret Freshie is a small, discreet, portable antiperspirant and deodorant designed specifically for your on-the-go lifestyle. It gives you odor and wetness protection when you need it most because it can be quickly and easily reapplied throughout the busiest days for an instant burst of freshness.

If you already have a favorite secret deodorant, you will hopefully like the formula. The Secret Invisible Solid gives a smooth, even application and will keep pits stink-free. There are four formulas that will be available: Paris Rose (pictured), Luxe Lavender, Chill Ocean and Cool Waterlily.

You use the Freshies range like you would any deodorant. Simply twist the cap, swipe on the product then twist it back on. You can then stash it in your drawer, purse or gym bag.

Goddess Gardens Brings Your Essential Oil Perfume-Spring Clean Your Fragrance Routine

Since I attended the Shift Con conference last year, I have made it my goal to try and eliminate chemicals from my household.  I was shocked to learn about all the things that are contained in the daily products that we use.

It’s time for transparency with fragrances! 


I was stunned to learn that many fragrances are full of phthalates and petrochemicals and some are even derived from animals. Most of us have no clue what chemicals are in the fragrance in our personal care products as companies can just list fragrance on the label and they don’t have to disclose what synthetic scent chemicals are in their secret recipe for their fragrance. Their fragrance could contain additives like phthalates, petrochemicals, and even oxybenzone—and none of it needs to be disclosed. It is time for transparency with fragrances! Companies should use ingredients they are proud of and list the on the label.

Founder, Nova Covington, was inspired to start her company after her daughter had serious reactions to the synthetic chemicals in conventional body care products. Because label reading was such a necessity for them, transparency has been Goddess Garden’s standard practice. However, when it comes to fragrance, everyone—including the most avid label readers—are still in the dark. Even among natural products, labels often list only ‘a blend of natural and essential oils.’ This is simply not enough information if you have allergies, sensitivities or if you prefer clean ingredients or animal-friendly options.

They are many times when I am not able to wear perfume because I am sensitive. I was so excited when Goddess Garden introduced their Natural Perfume Line. This natural oil-based perfume that has natural perfume oils.

I continue to be amazed at the products  that Goddess Garden comes out with and the fact that they created these organic hypoallergenic perfumes for a women. I like that everyone can wear a great scented fragrance and not have to worry about allergies and hormone disruption. Yes, the fragrance chemicals that are lurking in most beauty products are linked to hormone disruption. 

 

These natural scented non-toxic perfumes smell so good! I simply love all the scents and love choosing a new scent every day. I think my favorite one is the Wildflower essential oil roll-on perfume. The roll-on essential oil perfumes also come in scents like Wildflower, Amber Fire, Citrus Sunrise, and Rainforest. The ingredients are simple and all listed on the box. There are no hidden ingredients as Goddess Garden has nothing to hide as they don’t use chemicals in their products. I already use many other products from Goddess Garden.
