When I get home after a long day of errands or working at home, the first thing I want to do is put on my comfiest pajamas or loungewear the second I walk through the door. I was pleasantly surprised. This 13-year-old brand produces a bevy of products for the entire family but for me, it was the family pajamas that caught my attention. They had me the moment I felt the proprietary bamboo sourced viscose fabric: incredibly soft, moisture-wicking, temperature control and, designed in original prints.

Besides having the best pajamas the most compelling aspect of this west coast family-owned company is their huge commitment to sustainability, community, and comfort. Their entire mission is founded on the premise of giving. Focused 100% on the customer’s needs from childhood, maternity, parenthood, and beyond, it’s all about flexibility, feeling, and, family.

Kickee’s children’s line has inspired relatively new adult styles. Women began to ask for them in adult sizes.  On their own, women have created self-formed private online groups, such as Kickee Village on Facebook. Here they share pictures of their kids and themselves in Kickee pajamas.

I also fell in love with the print Ruffle Apron in Crimson Holiday Plaid. Whether you  are entertaining adults or educating little ones, an apron is your best defense against stains and  splatters. The ruffle apron is made from 100% woven Bamboo fabric that feels like cotton. The front pocket keeps recipe cards handy and the ties at the neck and back adjust for a personalized fit.  I love how it looks while I am in the kitchen.

Now if you know me at all, you know I’m already a huge fan of my Dyson. I loved the vacuum and hairdryer, so I was intrigued by the new technology in the Dyson Airwrap. It states that it automatically harnesses your hair in perfectly crafted air spinning that curls your hair around the barrel.

After months of being in the house, I was ready to give my hair a chance and this seemed like the perfect tool to start with. The Airwrap is ideal for hair like mine. I have super fine, and flat hair so I wanted a tool that would give me volume and shape. This technology carefully heats your hair without the damage of heat styling.

I loved the ease of using the soft smoothing brush attachment for quickly drying my hair right out of the shower after a quick towel dry. Took all of ten minutes! The set I have has several curling barrels to choose from, each designed to achieve a different type of curl for a variety of looks. The cool shot feature locks and sets the curl in place to keep your hair styled longer.

The copper elements on both the limited edition Airwrap, reference the real copper features within the windings of the Dyson digital motor V9. Used to conduct electricity, the copper windings create an electromagnetic field, which spins the motor and powers the machine. Despite its small size, the V9 digital motor spins up to 110,000rpm, while it’s 13-blade impeller generates 3.2kPa of pressure to propel 13 liter of air up to the amplifier every second.

Included in this set is the pre-styling dryer attachment, perfect for those days I’m not looking to style but want my hair dried with a quick pass through so it’s not sopping wet. . Ultimately the Airwrap took my hair styling game up a notch and I’m loving the results!

The average piece rings in around $30 meaning you can save your money which is important this time of year.

This sweater is sleek and modern. It is the perfect shade of grey. It goes perfect with pants or a skirt and fit comfortably. Being in the South, the weather constantly changes, the Fall can be warm or cool. This is the perfect piece to wear on those days that the temperature dips below sixty degrees. I love the slits on the side so it never feels confining. If you live in colder temperatures you can easily fit a turtle neck under it and keep warm and cozy.

These are definitely the pieces you should add to your holiday list as we continue to work from home, and look great doing it.
