The Incredibles 2 Jack-Jack Attacks from Jakks-Pacific

I hope you and your family got a chance to see this movie, this year. It was a great sequel to the first movie. 

Raising toddlers can be tough, but imagine if your baby also had superpowers.

Jack-Jack Attacks, from Jakks Pacific, brings the most adorable member of the family. 

Kids can press on Jack-Jack’s tummy to hear him laugh, giggle, babble, cry, shout, and do other baby things. But since he’s Jack-Jack, he’ll also make electric spark sounds as well. 

If they keep on pressing on Jack-Jack’s belly—or press and hold it—watch out! Jack-Jack will cycle through his powers! His cheeks light up red to show off his fiery flames, he’ll flash yellow and create spark sounds to show off his electric sparks, and his eyes glow blue to show his piercing laser eyes. And these aren’t lame effects either—they’re the real deal. They light up fairly bright and don’t fade. 

Jack-Jack also includes a raccoon as well, since the raccoon is an integral part of Mr. Incredible discovering Jack-Jack also has powers. Of course, at the end of the first Incredibles movie, we all know as an audience that Jack-Jack has superpowers (Yikes! That poor babysitter!), but at the beginning of the sequel, the rest of the Incredibles find out for themselves. All his powers come out in full force as he tries to stop a raccoon from stealing their trash. In a showdown that finally wakes up his dad who is napping, Jack-Jack reveals his true powers.

Disney Princess  Dress Up Trunk 

If you have a little girl, you’re probably familiar with Disney Princesses. Kids can dress up like favorite princesses. It’s an 11-piece set designed for fairytale role play that includes two dresses, two tiaras, two pairs of clip on earrings, two necklaces, and a storage trunk. The dresses are made of different fabrics with glitter accents. They feature Velcro closures on the back, making it easy for little ones to dress themselves. They should fit most kids sizes 4 – 6x. The plastic necklaces, and tiaras feature cameos, and images of the princesses. The earrings lightly clip on a child’s ears. Vera Bradley is a brand most people are familiar with. I have a couple of Vera Bradley bags for daily use, I love the versatility of their brands and how the line keeps expanding. The brand has some cool pieces for the holidays and I wanted to share my favorites with you.

Holiday Owls – Winter 2018

The release of this pattern isn’t like any other. In fact, the holiday pattern is perhaps one of the most anticipated prints of the year. Vera Bradley loves to keep you guessing about what the latest little critter frolicking about on a festive pattern will be.

This snowy creature seemed like the perfect fit as we enter the holiday season. Keep on reading to find out why our designers knew owls would be a hoot!

For Print Designer Lillian Noga, the inspiration for Holiday Owls all began with a vintage scarf. This simple accessory drew from the same Americana landscapes theme that has inspired our design team all season long.

Lillian also turned to our fall 2008 pattern, Night Owl, for inspiration. What resulted was Holiday Owls, an updated pattern with woodland, bandana-esque vibes and festive owls delivering season’s greetings. Holiday Owls can be found in various Iconic styles.

Our owl friends can also be seen on Owls, a gray pattern available in several of our Iconic styles. The print Night Owls boasts the same dark ground and celestial details of Holiday Owls, but with fewer festive accents, making it wearable year-round.

Since Holiday Owls is limited-edition (and most wearable during the holiday season) I recommend getting this pattern in a style you know you can wear nearly every day during the most wonderful time of the year! The Triple Zip Hipster is a perfect everyday bag and with Holiday Owls having such a dark ground, this print mixes well with pretty much every sweater in your closet. We especially love the look of the dark sky blue against a light gray to give you all of those wintry feels.

Leather Carry Bags

The leather is something new for Vera Bradley. Leather gives you a sense of style and sophistication, I always need a big tote to carry all of my papers and stuff in my purse. I also love matching my bag to my outfit. Vera Bradley has given me the option to do this. The line consists of the crossbody to the tote.

This line is made from the same vegetable-tanned leather that was used before. However, what was most important in this collection was bringing our heritage quilting details to our leather handbags.

While the Carryall Collection is inspired by our heritage, what’s new and exciting about this leather line is the price. Believe it or not, almost every single style in this collection retails for under $200. This makes it a great holiday gift for that special person in your life. I love to give one to a young lady graduating college and on her first job.

I have gotten so many compliments on my bags, and no one believes it when I say it is Vera Bradley.
