I recently got to attend a very cool event hosted by The Moms and Sarah Michelle Gellar, the ontime slayer of vampires. This event was to kick off the her new brand Foodstirs. It is a kid-friendly cooking lifestyle brand. The line includes three signature baking mixes, frosting, and food crafting kits complete with decorative supplies and tools. It’s perfect for all children in your life who want to learn to bake and create their own magic.
The company was started by Gellar and her friend Galit Laibow, who were inspired by a day of baking they had set up with their daughters. When they went to the store they could not find baking mix that met their nutritional standards so they decided to create Foodstirs.
It was so much fun because we got to see a demonstration for Sarah Michelle herself. Frigidaire was on hand with their great appliances to provide a hand. We created a little ghost, which is part of the Halloween kit. The ingredients are all pre-measured so you don’t have to worry about any of that.
The kits are $24.99 if you buy them one at a time, but if you subscribe they are $19.99. I love that it comes with everything inside, and with the weather getting colder I am always looking for fun and creative things to do inside. This is a great concept and one I am sure you will enjoy.
