The Big Toy Book’s Holiday Event #HotToys13

I love toys, and on October 23, 2013, I was lucky enough to attend The Big Toy Book’s Holiday event at the wonderful Hearst Tower. It was a chance to get a sneak peek at the hottest toys that are hitting the shelves.

As a child I was thrilled to see the presence of a few old school toys – of course they’re all re-imagined to accommodate the taste and lifestyle of the modern child. I got to see the new interactive Furby, Elmo was there and also Minnie and Mickey mouse.

One of my favorite toys, which I had never heard of up until this event was the Kurio Touch 4S. This portable tablet includes an ultra-responsive touch screen display, an HD video player, a music player, specially designed earbuds, and more. More than 30 free games and apps are pre-loaded. Great for kid-safe web surfing.

Another great new invention was the My Buddy Tag. This is an Alert System that alarms you when your child is out of your proximity and features a panic button located on the wristband

The day was filled with other toys from LeapFrog, Hasbro and other great companies.

Creation Source- #LovingMemories

Creation source is a company that brings to life your everyday accessories and tools. It allows you to express yourself like you never would be able to before.

I was recently given the opportunity to create and review a ring with my 8 most cherished pictures embedded on it. I was given this opportunity by The Blogger Connection and Creation Source

How many of us don’t have memories that makes us smile and that we would like to remember everyday. Some of memories included me being with my mom when I was younger, or meeting my idol, to pictures show me with my younger sister. What better way to have some keep those memories close than to have them on a ring to look at them everyday as a reminder of the happy times.
