Why You Need Fresh Wave in Your Life

When I attended the ShiftCon conference in December, I got the opportunity to speak to the representatives from Fresh Wave. When I got back I was super excited to try the line of products.

We have all had our moments when we walk into the house and we are met with the smells of the day. Diapers exploding, throw up, muddy & sweaty clothes, used underwear…it takes over the home.

You can turn to candles, plug-ins, and sprays all day long, but we’ve discovered a new “trick of the trade” you’ll need to try yourself. There’s one new product on the market that is proving to be the most effective for moms of all stages – Fresh Wave. And it’s sold at Target, so you know it must be good! 

My hall closet (home to our families shoes and coats) went from smelling like sweaty, dirty shoes to the amazing scent of a freshly cleaned house. I love it.  Thankfully I didn’t have to wash the shoes, Fresh Wave pearls did the job. I cant recommend them enough!

The bathroom and laundry room are always issues,  finally I placed a FreshWave crystal gel container discretely behind my bathroom garbage, and threw one of the little gel packs underneath the sink. The first thing I noticed was there wasn’t an overwhelming fake scent to the products- they had a mild citrusy scent but it wasn’t overpowering or perfumey at all.  By the next day, the room and bathroom were noticeably fresher. And it isn’t like other air fresheners where you can tell the scent is just masking the other smells– it’s as if FreshWave absorbed the other smells and just left a slight hint of summery smell in the air. And the best part is that I don’t have to worry about my son getting into the air freshener and having any sort of allergic reaction because the products are totally all natural (which is a total bonus!).

I was so happy with the effects that I tossed a FreshWave gel pack in my master closet . Those little pack carry a ton of power, because my car has never smelled better! I’ll never go back to my old way of air freshening, since neutralizing with FreshWave is a way better (and longer lasting) option.

A Dog’s Purpose- Curriculum and Home School Movie Day

When I was asked to participate in this Influencer Campaign I was super excited. Then when I was asked to introduce the film and speak to the audience I was honored.

I love my dog, Jake Eli, he is the best dog in the world in my opinion. That being said, the first time I saw the trailer for A Dog’s Purpose, I did not take it well. It was hard to watch the trailer.

A Dog’s Purpose is a great, family friendly movie. And Homeschool Movie Club has created a created a great Free curriculum http://www.homeschoolmovieclub.com/a-dogs-purpose. to go along with the movie. You can go to their site now to download the lessons. I downloaded mine and it looks great. I am really excited to share this with my friends. In four lessons, they cover science, math, geography, history, social studies, writing and more. Each includes not just a lot of facts but hands-on activities and crafts. If your kids love dogs, you definitely need to check this out. There are activities for younger and older students.

 

In addition, to the free curriculum, Homeschool Movie Club is also encouraging homeschoolers to get out there and vote with our dollars so to speak, January 27th, the day Dog’s Purpose opens nationwide, is Homeschool Movie Club Day. We encourage you, as individual homeschoolers and homeschool groups, to go the first matinee showing A Dog’s Purpose at your local theater.
