When I first got the package of Dough Dots I wasn’t sure how I, was going to like it. Once we got these in the mail I popped one open to see. Thankfully, there isn’t much of a smell. It certainly isn’t as strong as Play-Doh, which I was happy to see and smell.
Once the kids laid her eyes on the Dough Dots they were so excited! We have trouble keeping them from playing all day with them.
First, we opened them up; easy enough. Inside is a little lump of dough, sealed in a bag. You just cut that open and voila! You’re ready to play. No more struggling to get the dough out of a hard to use pesky container. The easy to use ball makes it easy to remove and play with and also to store!
We were so excited. We opened every single container and used every single animal cutter it came with. It brought out the creativity of the kids. We did not have any issues separating them and storing them for later use.
The colors are super bright and fun, the dough is way more pliable than other doughs on the market. I didn’t see cracking or as much crumbling as I have with others. The colors even have fun names like: Hippo Purple, Lion Yellow, Monkey Blue and Panda Red!
Each color comes in a fun ball with an animal on it which can be used to stamp into the dough and show the face.
Dough Dots come in a variety; from individual packs to multi-packs. They’re super affordable. You can purchase them here. Individual packs are just $1.99.
This toy is recommended for children ages 3-6 or for the kid at heart. I know that I love messing around with moldable doughs and clays. If you’d like to learn more about Dough Dots click here.
