Chico’s started in 1983 as a small boutique selling Mexican folk art and cotton sweaters on Sanibel Island in Florida. 35 years later, Chico’s has evolved to 700 Chico’s boutiques nationwide, a monthly catalog, and round-the-clock shopping online. Chico’s has always done such a great job of bringing creative fashion to the masses. Wearable for work or weekends and great pieces designed for travel, Chico’s always adds a little touch to keep their line from looking too mainstream, too ordinary, too commonplace. I have been a fan of Chico’s for many years. I wanted to share with you some of the great pieces I have been wearing this summer.
If the sizing of my pieces look odd, it’s because Chico’s has their own sizing convention, but they have a handy size chart to help you match up to your regular size or measurements. Their clothing ranges from 0-20 and many pieces are available in petites (even this white shirt which has become my new favorite). I find their clothing to be generously sized; I got all these pieces in the correct sizes.
I love this the soft light blue shade of this gorgeous jacket stole my heart! My rule is if I go back and look at an item multiple times, I am in love! When I received it, I was very impressed! I love the well made intricate lace design and the weighty fabric. Not heavy, just very well made. I love the detail at the cuffs and it just easy to take with me when I am traveling.
