Land’s End Getaway Tour

On Tuesday May 21, 2014 the Land’s End Getaway Tour made a stop in New York. The location for this event was Flatrion Plaza at 23rd Street and 5th Avenue. This event was partnership with Glamour to bring the Ultimate Swimsuit Experience to everyone and they did not disappoint.

The first stop on this tour was to get your measurements done correctly, so you could find the suit that fits you perfectly. Kim who did my fitting was wonderful she gave me a card with all the information and then walked me around to find the suits that would flatter my body. She was my own personal swimsuit guide and I loved it, she took the time to explain the fabrics and what she thought about the looks on me. It was valuable time that I would not have gotten anywhere else.

The new line of suits offers something for everyone. The vintage suits are wonderful with the right amount of ruffle the florals are so cute and the black and white line is wonderful. Plus you can mix and match and wear the top with a striped bottom or the other way around to get the look that you want.

Another addition to the line is the swim tee. If anyone loves to go out to the water this is wonderful and it comes in so many patterns and colors. You can also wear it to and from the beach if you are going out to lunch. It is so comfortable and the perfect weight and very soft.

A great feature of this tour also the accessories that they had laid out so that you could see how it works with your outfit and then finally you got to take your photo in your suit. It was a fun day.

I never would have thought that Land’s End would have such cute and flattering and stylish swimsuits for all ages. They are some sizes that are very hard to find which can leave you discouraged, but Land’s End has done a great job in carrying all sizes.
