While working from home, when was the last time you followed your regular skincare routine? It gets challenging to say the least. There are a lot of people who wake up just before work starts and sit in front of their laptops. You are immersed in other activities including cooking meals in between, eating while working, attending calls, and most importantly, meeting deadlines. We are turning out to be good multi-taskers but when we talk about skincare, it has slipped from our priority list.
I’ve been slowly adding in the Sunday Riley products into my daily skincare routine for a few months now. I figured I wanted to give it enough time to try to see the results before I shared it with everyone. The majority of the Sunday Riley products I’ve been using have been for a day and night time regimen.
Ceramic Slip Cleanser
This cleanser has quickly become a favorite of mine. It’s gentle on the skin and my skin feels so soft after I use it. It feels like a deep clean without being harsh, and it doesn’t strip my skin of the natural oils.
Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream
This is my everyday moisturizer, and I am happy to report that it leaves my skin hydrated and plump without feeling greasy. It is almost like I drank a ton of water. A little of this goes a long way so it will last you a long time.
CEO Vitamin C Brightening Serum
This has become my favorite Vitamin C serum because it doesn’t have the smell some of any other Vitamin C serums have. It is a cream serum, and leaves a hydrated finish. I apply it in the morning, that way it boosts my skin.
Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment
This serum is amazing for combating pores, dark spots, fine lines and wrinkles. My skin feels less exfoliated, has less dark spots, and appears more youthful when I incorporated this into my routine. I apply it at night after I cleanse and tone my skin. When I wake up my skin looks smoother and brighter.
Luna Night Sleeping Oil
Luna is a new step for me in terms of skincare since it’s the first retinol that I have used. It’s also colored with blue tansy, which makes it incredibly blue when you first put it on. Not to worry once you massage it into your skin, it immediately changes to a clear color. As with any nighttime serum, I wanted to use it to offset any fine lines, wrinkles, spots, or anything less than perfect that might happen to my skin as I get older. It seems to make a big difference in my skin when I’m stressed, leaving it much less red and dried out.
Under Eye Cream
One of the newest things that I’ve started using from Sunday Riley is their Autocorrect serum, which is a caffeine-filled under eye-depuffer. Which, let’s face it, is something that is awesome for me. I spend a lot of time getting up early so I’ll take all the depuffing that I can get. I’m not usually a big believer in “instant” relief claims, since that seems to be largely suspect, but I do feel that I can notice a difference when I use this in the morning versus when I don’t! It has a bit of shimmer in the formulation, so the added brightness underneath my eyes helps mask the dark under-eye circles.
Do not experiment too much with your skin it could do some damage. A lot of people have the tendency to try different products and styles of skincare routine. Find what works for you and stick with it. Of course, change with the seasons and when you need more or less hydration.
