The holidays have landed at Ann Taylor, and I got a nice preview of the sophisticated fashion you can expect to see. While this here the holidays are a little different, but we can still get ourselves or our loved ones something that will bring a smile to our faces.

Not only well-made in quality, but the pieces are figure- flattering and versatile. When I would attend events in New York, I always loved the classic faux leather pants. This Ann Taylor has introduced the Faux Leather High Waist Ankle Pant in Navy. Blue is my favorite color so I was thrilled to add this to my closet. These pants are buttery soft and have a very luxurious look and feel to them. They truly look like real high-quality leather, which few of these faux leathers look like. They are classic in fit and won’t go out of style.

To top off the look I paired the pants with the Plaid Jacquard Sweater it adds the perfect current touch. I love how the colors just pop and it is so soft and cozy. I love the extra long raglan sleeves. This sweater will also go great with white pants or a blue skirt.

The skirt is cinched with a horsebit buckle belt, for a sleek and stylish silhouette. It has a hidden back zipper with hook-and-eye closure. I paired it with Houndstooth Long Open Cardigan. This cardigan is warm and stylish. It is super heavy like a coat. I actually wore it out just with the skirt. I have always loved the houndstooth print and this is the perfect way to show it off.  If you live in colder climates this is the perfect piece for you to pick up, it will never go out of style and it is so versatile that it will turn into a staple in your closet.

As a blogger, I love when I get a chance to preview pieces from a brand that I love. They were one of the first to carry petite clothing and styles that looked good on me. After a while, you get tired of having to make alterations to your clothes.
