Verizon invited a group of New York City Bloggers to come down to Times Square in New York and kick off the start of the World Cup. Fans were treated to Face Painting and lessons from the New York Red Bulls! We were then invited to Dave & Busters to watch the Brazil versus Croatia game.
New Yorkers loved the idea of joining in on the activities. Everyone who was rooting for their home team from USA, Argentina, Brazil, England, and others showed and told us of their team support. The New York Bulls showed off their skills and got the crowd involved in having them show some of their own skills. Everyone had a great time from children to adults. We then headed out to watch the game ourselves and spread the love of the World Cup, everyone asked us what we were doing as we walked down the busy New York streets, and we told them promoting the World Cup they all wanted to join in the party.
