On Saturday, October 16, 2014, I got a chance to spend the day getting pampered and meeting author Jane Collen of the Enjella Adventure Series.
This event was held at Inglot Studios in Chelsea Market, which was a fabulous space for this event.
Author Jane F. Collen was on hand to read from her books and debut new picture book “What More Can A Fairy Be”. Also on hand was illustrator David Trumble who did pictures of all the kids as fairies.
The series is about a tooth fairy that is not your average fairy she does things her own way. She fights the rigid tooth fairy establishment to do what she knows is right to help children.
These books are ones to inspire young children that you don’t have to go with the traditional role that has been established, you can take on a role and still add your own personality to it. It is a series of enpowerment, that you can do what you inspire to do with you life.
I loved speaking with Jane about how she is trying to inspire young children, it is something that we need more of it our world today. We were treated to wonderful makeup applications by the wonderful artists at Inglot Studio Pros, and served Hot Chocolate and cupcakes.
It was a wonderful afternoon. Check out the series, you will be glad that you did.
