Are you and your kids looking for Valentine’s Day activities. You can make your own homemade Valentine’s Day cards.
What you will need
Tissue Paper (assorted colors)
Small box of chocolates
Glitter
Scissors
Contact Paper
Red Ribbon or String
Glue
1. Open the box of chocolates and save the colored plastic wrapping.
2. Take the wrapping, along with the colored tissue paper, and rip it into different sized pieces.
3. Remove the backing from the first sheet of Contact paper and lay it down sticky side up. Place the pieces of torn paper and plastic wrap on the sticky surface. Cover the entire area, leaving a one-ince border around the edges. Sprinkle with glitter.
4. Remove the backing from the second sheet of Contact paper and place the sheet on the top of the other, sticky side facing down. Press down over the entire area to seal the two sheets together.
5. In front of you is a large sheet of color. Using your scissors, cut out some heart shapes. Poke a hole at the top of each heart cut out so you can feed a ribbon or string through it. Tie the ribbon or string into a bow or leave enough room to hang up your valentine.
6. Hold it up to a window to see how the light shines through. You can fill the hearts.

This looks like fun! My kids are big into cutting out shapes right now, so they’d like the different texture and colors to use.
