One of my family’s favorite dishes is Kabobs. You can make Kabobs with any of your favorite veggies, fruit and meats. It is a healthy dish that you can make.
I like chicken and steak Kabobs. You first season and marinate your meat and poultry. You will need to cut your chicken and beef into small squares, it does not have to be perfect. Grab your veggies and cut into squares. I love to use bell peppers, onions and tomatoes, it gives it a colorful mix.
Next you need some skewers, you can use wood or metal ones. If you are using wood ones, soak it for a little while so it is easier for your ingredients to slide on.
There is no right or wrong way to add the veggies and meat. I like to make a pattern and alternate. Just fill it out how you like.
Then throw them on the grill. Let them cook and turn over. You can serve it with rice or salad.
I loved making this dish during the summer for backyard cookouts. It also is easy to prepare.
The skewers that I used are flat stainless steel skewers that are dishwasher safe. They can be used in eight different positions for perfect grilling on each side. They have a slider that can assist on getting the food easily off the skewer. They fit perfect on a small grill also.
