I was recently given an opportunity by Mom Central to attend a Spring Beauty Event hosted by Zyrtec. Zrtec understand that with Spring approaches and flowers begin to bloom it can cause those with allergies to begin to experience difficulties. We can have a puffy face, red nose and watery eyes. These symptoms make it impossible for most woman to use makeup.
This event brought out beauty expert Rebekah George who taught me a few tips on how to diminish eye puffiness and draw away the redness caused by allergies.
According to Zyrtec 96% of women suffer from allergy symptoms. Of the 1,000 female allery sufferers surveyed, half have missed a date or social event because they felt their allergy-related beauty challenges made them look too bad to leave the house.
What should you do?
Here are some tips.
1. Keep it simple by not wearing alot of make up. Dampen your makeup brush to apply the products.
2. Your eyes are the first signs of allergies, so use softer colors and less pigment, they can help to lighten and brighten eyes.
3. Take a break from makeup, apply self-tanner instead for a fresh and healthy glow that lasts all day.
