This is the time of the year when I look forward the Momtrends travel trends event. This year’s event was held at the Ivivva store in Union Square. Bloggers gathered together to talk about all of the latest gear, destinations and must haves for the traveling moms and their families. I loved seeing all of the of my friends gathering in one place and talking about plans. I also have to give a shout out to our hosts Nicole Feliciano and Sherri Schubert.
When I walked into the room, the first thing that I saw was this wonderful tower of chocolate courtesy of Hershey.
Bloggers had a chance to mingle, the children got a change to hang out in craft section with the Nanny League. The sitters their were great, they were able to create crafts courtesy of Seeding. The trained staff kept the kids fully engaged and had them laughing.
Nicole then kicked off the night by introducing some of the great brands that were on hand that night. It was so great to listen to all of the insiders talk about tips and things that we could do to make travel easier for us this season.
The MomsTrends group was dressed in fashions from Talbots. Talbots was always a store that I had interest in but had never really thought about their styles until this night. The pieces were trendy, easier and could be used in multiple ways. I loved the colors and the way it brought Spring into the night. I am in love with their clothes now.
How host store Ivivva showed us some of their stylish looks, this is a brand launched by lululemon that celebrate girls and their love of clothes and athletic wear. I love these pieces and the best part is that I can fit into their large sizes.
We all now that warmer weather means bugs, so it was great that Guardian was on hand to talk to us about non-toxic mosquito and tick repellent that is a alternative to DEET, that really works.
I really loved the presentation by eBags. Marissa did a great job of showing us of packing can be an easy task when it is always one of the hardest part of travel. We learned how to streamline the process by packing things in different bags and how easy it is to travel, who would have thought.
When going to the beach or the park Igloo is the must have products. They keep your drinks cool and are always reliable and tough. In a variety of shapes and sizes you are always going to find what your family needs.
If you need a place to go, Canyon Ranch was on hand, they have properties in Lenox, Massachusetts, Tucson, Arizona. Canyon Ranch is a wonderful wellness experience. They have some amazing products also for you to bring home and remember the experience.
It was a great night, and I have a lot of new tips to take me into this travel season.
