Every one of us is annoyed with those undesirable invasive weeds that appear in every corner They survive in diverse environments and reproduce so quickly that they reappear before we know it. Often we use Herbicides or weed killers, but these are chemical substances that also have their own toxic effects. Some herbicides may have a variety of health effects that can range from minor skin rashes to even death in severe cases. So why take any risks if you can get rid of them with just your tap water? The Weed Killing Steamer utilizes 300° F steam to wilt a weed in a few seconds and kill it between 24 to 48 hours.
It is effective for most common types of yard weeds. The steamer has a 2 foot long wand that lets you finish the job without excessive bending. It comes with additional attachments to get the suckers out of those weird corners. Its 1.4 liter tank will last up to 35 minutes and takes about 10 minutes for steam to be ready. It comes equipped with a pressure gauge that tells you when the steamer is ready.
During field testing, 100% of crabgrass, dandelions, and cudweed plants that were treated with the steamer were either completely killed or severely damaged with just a single application. Using this method is also less work on your body as the steamer has a long wand allowing you to reach weeds without having to kneel or stoop. The device features a 48oz tank which can provide you with up to 35 minutes of continuous use which is enough to treat 100s of weeds.
The water heats up in ten minutes and a pressure gauge will tell you when the steamers is ready. The device comes with a cone attachment for smothering weeds between pavers and plants, precision tip for edging, and a triple root spike for treating weeds in lawns.
The complete system comes with the machine itself, the trigger handle and hose, two detachable wands, a measuring cup and funnel to fill the machine with water, and three attachment heads:
- Triple Root Spike: This is used to attack weeds such as dandelions in your lawn. You insert the spikes over the center of the weed and into the soil, then release the steam. Unlike the other attachments, the triple root spike works to kill the plant at the root.
- Speed Weed Cone: The cone is used to kill weeds in hardscape cracks or between paving stones. You place the cone over the weed and release the steam.
- Precision Power Jet Tip: This attachment is used to get at weeds in tight spaces, such as in crevices at the base of a fence or wall. The steam shoots out in a narrow stream to damage the leaves and stems.
