Shopkins has invited our lives for the last couple of years and we were so excited to see the new cute little characters. Even I get excited when they pop open a package containing a new character, to mark off their lists. I love watching the brand evolve, introducing new play sets and doll characters. It is great to see the new season of the collectible craze continue with the theme of World Vacation.
It is so popular that I had to create a spreadsheet for all my friends to keep track of the ones that they have and the ones that they are missing.
First, these little guys are super cute! Shopkins are characters of things that we shop for. Makes sense, right? Products from the dairy, health and beauty, bakery, etc… the list goes on and on. From shoes to food, they have you covered! They have little faces which automatically give them personality and they are so tiny and adorable. Shopkins are sold in sets that allow you to see which characters you will be adding to your collection and they are also sold in Blind Baskets where it is the luck of the draw.
If I had to pick my absolute favorite things about Shopkins, it would be that they allows children to be creative and use their imagination while playing. They learn all of their names and give them all voices. They talk and have conversations and let them be little; they allow them to enjoy their childhood.

oh gosh, my younger son loves these! He’s in to the ‘toy surprises’ and ‘blind bags’ and Mashems galore! They work great as incentives too!
