Fall Style + prAna

I’ve been absolutely loving these cooler mornings that we have been experiencing! I can feel fall in the cooler breeze, shorter days and ample harvest from our garden, and I’m so excited. Fall.  Living in New Jersey, I’m able to really appreciate the drastic changes and characteristics of all the seasons (although winter could be about 2 months shorter than what it is.

Aside from the cooler temperatures, colorful leaves and holidays one of my favorite things about fall is the fashion trends. I love seeing all the new boots, bottoms and cozy tops that are replacing the too tiny (for me) crop tops and shorts. I’m pretty active in my life (love running and yoga, although I should be doing more of it) and need clothing that can keep up and moves with me. PrAna creates a wide array of clothing and accessories that you can be worn for every activity, every adventure and every day and that’s what I love about them. It totally fits into my life!

I had been crushing on Aya Sweater so hard so I couldn’t wait to have one for myself. The is made from a recycled wool blend and is super soft and warm. This sweater will be perfect for the cooler months to keep cozy and comfortable. It has a flattering fit with gorgeous herringbone detail on the sleeve cuffs, collar inset, back body and hem button placket (and aren’t those buttons such a pretty touch?). This sweater is going to get so much wear in my closet — it’s a definite must have for this fall!

 

 

The Kara jeans soft stretched denim is made from organic cotton and polyester and is so comfortable to wear. I’d wear these jeans over any of my others because they have a great low rise fitted style, yet still allow you to easily move without pulling or stretching out. I definitely reach for these over other jeans and can’t wait to get more of them (they have SO many colors too, including regular denim colors as well). I’m pretty tall so I really appreciate the longer length of these jeans (plus, they look adorable when cuffed too).
