Kicking off this season’s Miami Art Basel 2017, luxury travel and accessories brand MCM throws an exclusive house party to launch its new collaboration with Berlin’s KÖNIG SOUVENIR, “The Magical Memory World Tour Collection”. KÖNIG SOUVENIR is a project by SOUVENIR and KÖNIG GALERIE, creating products that merge the ineffable effect of art with the commemorative value of souvenirs, the collaboration with MCM is inspired by travel and the globalization of contemporary art. The luxury brand unveiled the new limited-edition collaboration to the art world’s cross-continental jet set at an exclusive Miami Art Basel house party located at the Sun Path House (Christian Wassman Studio). Not your typical house party, art, fashion and music collided for the occasion, with a VIP guest list including Young Paris, Noise Cans, DJ Dixon, Johann Koenig, David Mallon, Caroline Daur, Elizabeth Kurpis, Claudia Compte, Melissa Bolona, ThankYouX, Sung Joo Kim, Corey Shapiro and more. Guests previewed the collection and an art installation inspired by the collaboration while enjoying handmade pizzas and special house party musical performance by European DJs Pandoras Jukebox (Yasmina Dexter) and Esben Weile.
