In the last few months, I have been in the process of building new closets. This has been a stressful situation. I have finally trying to get the jumbled clothes that I have all over into perfectly organized ensembles. When you can actually see your clothes, you can wear them and realize what you own. This is when I was introduced to the Bend & Hook Hangers.
Bend & Hook hangers were inspired, Dan Martinson… Founder and CEO of the Bend & Hook Company. About 8 years ago, I invented the Gear Tie Reusable Rubber Twist Tie. The idea came to me when I was trying to secure some items to an ATV Rack. I got frustrated with the bungee cords I had and immediately started thinking about how to invent something better. My background is in plastics and rubber, so the idea of extruding rubber onto a bendable wire wasn’t much of a stretch. That’s how it all started!
He decided to start looking into modern clothes hangers. What I found was truly horrifying as 99.9% of all consumer hangers are made somewhere other than the United States! That’s all he needed to know. There was an opportunity here that I had to take advantage of. The discovery process is definitely the most fun and exciting part of the process when inventing new products. Inventing the “Perfect Hanger” became an obsession that would take me a full year to work out. From that ambition, the Bend & Hook Hanger was born.
These hangers are the solution to tiny closets everywhere. They take up half the space of those tubular plastic monstrosities from college, allowing me to store twice the clothes in the same amount of real estate. Their grip, the surface also means a permanent end to things constantly falling on the floor. I’m so excited with the way my closet looks now that I’m constantly inviting guests in to take a peek.
The hangers are rated to hold up to 20 lbs. and can withstand your heaviest jackets, sweaters, and jeans. I made the mistake of falling for a cheap knockoff brand at a big box store, and they are total junk. Bend and shape it to hang just about anything. That’s the advantage of a steel wire core. Indoors, outdoors, wet or dry. Suitable for all your needs in any environment. If you are ready to organize your closets these are the way to go. Also, these make perfect gifts for those students that you have going off to college this year. It comes in this box.
