The summer in the south has been going for the past month. We have dealing with very warm temperatures, which means tons of outdoor activities for everyone. We started with a Pre-K graduation and have not stopped. The rest on the summer is packed with great activities. It also means we are outside working in the garden and trying to enjoy the weather. All of our summer plans will include time in the sun so I need to make sure to include my favorite natural mineral based sunscreen in my summer as I don’t want sunburn in my summer plans.
This busy summer will include the pool. I love that I can apply Goddess Gardens Kids Sunscreen when the kids visit us. I love that I am always prepared when we have little visitors who like to show up and want to do so much. I love that this mineral sunscreen comes in a spray because we always have kids who don’t want to stand still.
Sunscreen chemical are absorbed into the skin, triggering allergies and other skin reactions. Since natural minerals reflect the UV rays and aren’t absorbed in the skin, they are much less likely to cause irritation. This makes them great for those with sensitive skin or anyone who wants to avoid synthetic chemicals. The main ingredient in Goddess Garden is Zinc Oxide which provides natural broad-spectrum protection from both UVB (burning) rays, as well as the UVA (aging and damaging) rays. Mineral Sunscreens are safe for the reefs and the environment.
Studies have shown common chemical sunscreens like octinoxate and oxybenzone are damaging the coral reefs. Hawaiian senators even introduced a ban on these chemical sunscreens in an effort to save the reefs. Because the minerals come from the earth, they can safely return there once your day in the sun is done.

I am ready for the summer and to work in my garden. love using the Sunscreen Stick on my face as it is so convenient and mess-free. I keep a stick in my purse so I can use it on days that I forget to apply my sunscreen.
See how Goddess Garden can help you and your family stay safe this summer.
