Growing up in Brooklyn, New York, I never had the opportunity to have a dog. So, when I was able to get one it was a wonderful event. Jake Eli is a huge part of our family and we love him so much. Jake Eli is a bloodhound and one day he actually got off his collar and ran away. I was away when it happened and when I got the call I was out of my mind. I felt like a horrible mother. Luckily he was chipped and he had only gone done the block to see a new dog, but those hours were crazed.   A Dog’s Way Home is about a dog who takes off to chase a squirrel and she has to find her way home. This is something that my whole family wants to see because we love a heartwarming tale, especially one that involves dogs.

This movie is based on the book by W. Bruce Cameron – which I own! I have read it, and I totally cried when I did. So it is no surprised that I cried during as well. A Dog’s Way Home chronicles the heartwarming adventure of Bella, a dog who embarks on an epic 400-mile journey home after she is separated from her beloved human.
