I was so excited to be able to attend this Converse event, I loved Converse growing up and loved their idea of creating your own sneakers letting your creativity soar. Theses shoes are built with active kids in mind, the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II Kids collection meets the demands of an on-the-go lifestyle, delivering more comfort and durability.
Launching late Spring, the iconic Chuck II will now be available in kid’s sizing, boasting the most recognizable Chuck II innovation features, such as a Nike Lunarlon sockliner, super soft micro-suede lining and padded non-slip tongue. On top of all the comfort features, the Chuck II offers premium style details, like an embroidered All Star patch, on-trend high foxing and monochrome matte eyelets. The sneakers come in Black, White, Blue, Red and Black Monochrome.
Kris Wright, Global Senior Director for Kids Products at Converse was on hand to set the stage and the afternoon’s fun carnival event. He talked about the on the go lifestyle and that kids need a sneaker that can provide comfort during their daily journey. We want kids to enjoy this shoe as much as the adults enjoy their version. I am lucky, I actually fit into the kids size so I am extra happy.
The new Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II Kids will be available at Converse retail stores and online at Converse.com beginning April 29. The hi-top will retail for a suggested retail price of $45-$65 dollars, and low-top between $40-$60 dollars.
