When the calendar turns and I see Spring coming, it makes me ready to clean the house and get it looking bright and beautiful. When I was young I would always change my bedding during the seasons to make the room look different.

The next on the list was to unfurl the queen size comforter from the package. I chose to get a queen size to give a little more give since I am a bit of a blanket hog and love to be surrounded by warmth. As soon as I took the comforter out of the package and into the light of day I saw the clean pattern and how much it reminded me of a comforter that I had as a child.
The next was to take the decorative pillows and lay them out of the bed. It has been almost a week since I redid the bedding and each night I love this comforter a little more. It looks wonderful when I place a throw at the end of the bed as well as when I spend more time making the bed. One of my favorite things to do is just sit on the comforter and read, it is soft and comfortable.
I have hardwood floors in my bedroom, and I love to add an area rug to the floor to give the room that finished look. I got the Croscill Chantilly Lace Area Rug.
