On May 20, 2017, was day 1 of the New York Baby Show and it was amazing. Every imaginable product for babies was there. Moms and dad and even some expectant parents checked out the booths, attend seminars and lounged in the many relaxing areas around the venue.
My first stop was the MomTrends Lounge. I got a chance to sit down and talk to other individuals and have some breakfast before heading out to check out all the great products. I also got the opportunity to video tape and highlight one of my favorite products.
There are so many baby products available that many parents can get a headache just trying to figure out where to start. That’s why you have me. I did the foot work and have brought you a few of my favorite items from this year’s show.
- Attipas Baby First Shoes: Socks and Shoes in One – I wasn’t familiar with the brand before the show but I am now a fan. First and foremost, the design. The shoes I got were fashionable and can easily match any color and attire whether in dress, shorts or leggings. The two in one feature, shoes with built in socks makes it comfortable and light for baby’s developing feet. I like how the socks is stretched neatly inside and securely attached to the silicon soles making sure that there won’t be any loose thread that might get tangled with baby’s toes. It is made with 100% non toxic materials; no glue or adhesives. It has a big toe box to allow toes to move freely and known to improve cognitive and motor developments. It is breathability feature where there are 25 tiny perforated holes on the soles to release heat and moisture from baby’s feet. http://www.attipas.com.au/
2. Cruiser 3 from Kiddy – Car seat safety has always been a concern of mine . I am always worried about if our seat is installed correctly and if the placement is okay. That being said when I saw the Cruiser 3 I wasn’t just drawn in by it’s really cool color, it just looks safe. After speaking with the brand I know that it is safe. And can support children from 33 pounds up to 63 inches (that’s taller than me) and 120 pounds (yes I can use this booster for myself!). http://kiddyusa.com/index.html.
3. Joovy Nook-I love this company and I love the Joovy Nook is the larger, adjustable try with no more cup holder. The tray can adjust front and back as your kids grow while reducing the food fall potential from tray to mouth for self feeders. They also gave a little style update a newer, modern look. It is easy to assemble, you just pull it out of the box and pop open it. The chair folds up easily, simply pull the lever and it folds right up, tray and all. http://joovy.com/nook/
There were so many great items it was really difficult to narrow down this list. These are the top ones that I feel you need to check out.
