This year food bloggers and journalists gathered at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square to celebrate the first Editor Showcase event of the year. This year the theme of the show was Eat This! Hot New Products, it was a surprise and pleasure to see such a variety of fresh foods and produce mixed in with the yogurt, chips and gluten-free products that are the staples of most food shows.

Here are a couple of products for home bakers. King Arthur brand Almond Flour and Coconut Flour. This company is based in Vermont and is one of the America’s oldest flour companies and they are dedicated to the innovation of baking, recipes, tools and education. With the rise in gluten free products, these flours are ideal and offer you the best treats available.

I was introduced to Blue Diamond Nut Thins crackers and love them. They have a great taste and are very crisp. The Almond Nut Thins taste like delicious popcorn. Blue Diamond is a trusted brand that everyone knows that make quality almonds and almond products. We also got to try the new line of bold almond flavors such as Wasabi Soy Sauce and Habanero BBQ. We also got sample the brand’s tasty non-dairy, almond milk beverage, which is called Almond Breeze.

Luna Bars where also on hand it is a healthy snack bar geared specifically towards the nutritional needs of women. Luna is the perfect on the go snack. It is both nutritious and tastes great. The Lemon Zest variety was one of the featured bars. It has a nice mix of tartness and sweetness and a creamy/crunchy texture combination. Luna Bars are gluten free, a good source of protein and are made with 70% organic ingredients, while also offering 3-4 grams of fiber per bar.

Good Natured Selects is introducing two new varieties of their Baked Vegetable Chips; regular and Ranch.
