Marvel Spectacular Event

A few weeks ago I was invited to attend the Marvel and Hasbro Super Hero Spectacular Event. It was a day of fun and excitement.

The Super Hero Spectacular Event allowed all of the little superheroes to live out their dreams. The event was filled with different stations and activities that allowed kids to enjoy fun with different Marvel characters.

We also got to see some of the current and upcoming Hasbro toys and products.

Marvel’s Avengers Titan Hero Interactive Hulk and Figure Assortment

These Interactive figures feature phrases that simulate conversation with each other, as well as great sound effects. This is setting the stage for some great stories back and forth between these characters.

This also had different masks and gloves for Hulk, Spiderman and Iron Man to try out.

The Iron Man Arc FX gloves feature a light up repulsor in the palm of the glove. Raise your had to activate lights and blasting sound effects.

The Marvel’s Avengers Hulk Gamma Grip Fists. Pretend to smash your way through any obstacle with these foam hands. The all-new Flex Feature lets kids grip and grab to make sure no villain can get anyway from you.

Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man Wise Cracking Electronic Mask. While wearing this mask you can hide your identity and become the web-slinger’s tough hero. At the right time in the battle you can activate the mask’s sounds and phrases with your chin and make the mask say things like “whoa”, spider sense is going crazy and watch out.

Since there’s is more than one way to defeat your enemy and not get physical they were some great board games to help us see what our superheroes can do.

Another great part of this event was getting to screen some of the upcoming Marvel animated series:

Marvel’s Ultimate Spider Man: Web Warriors

This pairs Spidey with the Avengers, but introduces new heroes and villains from the Marvel Universe such as Agent Venom, a new Iron Spider Amadeus Cho, Cloak & Dagger and Ka-Zar.

Marvel’s Guardian of the Galaxy-

Marvel’s Guardians of Galaxy stars Peter Quill as Star Lord, the brash adventurer who save the universe from it greatest threats, joins forces with a quartet of misfits-Rocket Raccoon, a tree-like humanoid name Groot, the enigmatic, expert fighter Gamora and the warrior Drax the Destroyer. This series will premiere in 2015 on the Marvel Universe programming on Disney XD.

It was a great day of fun.

Momtrends Holiday Soiree 2015

The annual Momtrends Holiday Soiree is one of the events I look forward to each year. I get so excited to meet and mingle with all the brands and all the wonderful people. We get a chance to see all lthe hottest toys, crafts, books and so much more.

Our host Nicole Feliciano looked great in her Cabi outfit and she welcomed us during the night and talked about all the brands and the holidays that are upon us.

As soon as you stepped in the space you felt the holiday surround you. We walked in and right away were given a drink made my POM juice what wonderful selections to kick off the night.

Teleflora was on hand to showcase their Holiday floral arrangements and Christmas cookie jars, mugs and vases. The Peanuts is a central theme for their arrangements this year. I love that these add the touch of elegance to your tabletops and holiday décor.

We next got to try POM wonderful new teas. I love POM’s drinks and now they are introducing their new teas. I had so much fun chatting with the reps about what their favorite ones were. I was given some samples of the teas and a Pomegranate recipe book, and a whole Pomegranate.

Now that we had something to drink it was time to get something to eat. It was off to Tessemae’s. They use natural ingredients to create delicious foods. All natural products that you can use as dressing, for marinating, dipping, cooking roasting and grilling. I got to sample their tasty treats.

My next stop was Mudpuppy. These are some great items that you can spend all day working on. They had tons of crafts, puzzles and fun books for you to spend time with your kids working on. There was so much stuff to enjoy, I love the bag tags.

One of my favorite brands is I See Me. These are books that you can personalize with your own kids names and stories. You have such a large range of books and worksbooks and they continue to add new books to the collection every year. I love the personal touch, and the surprise in your kids eyes when they see their names in print will make you so proud.

Bedgear baby was also there to showcase their performance bedding for our sleepers. Their performance material helps keep your kids try. It absorbs moisture to help your child sleep cool and dry and dry.

Hasbro was on hand to show us all the must have toys and games for the holidays bring back the games that we loved growing up. I love their games.

Cabi was there to show us their lovely line of clothes. Nicole was wearing their Black and Whit Jacket and red pants.

This was a wonderful event and I had an amazing time with all the brands and bloggers.

#KidzVuzBTS Bash

We had a great time at this year’s KidzVuz Back to School Bash. It was held at the Sheraton Times Square Hotel. It was a great place to catch up with fellow bloggers.

Wonder Workshop had a fun robots for the kids to control using a tablet and they were called Dash and Dot robots. It was great to see how these robots are going to integrated into STEM education and to encourage girls into the field of engineering and robotics.

Phillips had this Mix DJ sound system They also had screen cleaners which I picked the Mint scent to clean my phone and kill bacteria and germs. There was also the wireless portable speaker asked the FL3X which was awesome.

WWE wrestler/diva Mark Henry and Natalya took pictures and gave autographs. They were both so much fun to talk to and very relatable. I love being part of this team.

Lysol was my favorite station where we got to play a game called Kill the Germs like a whack a mole version and took a picture in a cutout cardboard posing like a scientist, then a classroom set up with tablets learning about germs. I loved learning about all the Back to School ideas that they had for us. I am looking forward to working with them.

Dentek showed us the latest in their kids fun flossers , toothbrushes and toothpaste. Met Museum letting parents know about their new digital feature MetKids launching in September 2015.
