With the VEX Robotics Ball Machines kids build this entire machine with snap together pieces. Then you use the hand crank to power three hexagonal indexing wheels, which transport balls uphill where they are released onto the return ramp and continue to move in a loop.

Hexcalator cycles the balls through the machine. Once the balls make it through the three hexagons, they roll down a ramp and get dumped into a clear basket to start the cycle all over again.
