Actress and model Cat Deeley (So You Think You Can Dance) will take a decidedly naughty turn as wicked witch Violet in “Kate in Oz,” a new primetime special of the popular animated series, Kate & Mim-Mim, that premieres on Disney Junior, Monday, November 14, at 8pm.

Inspired by the classic tale and featuring a fun Mimiloo twist, this fall, viewers can twirl away – all the way to Oz! In “Kate in Oz,” a scary thunderstorm is keeping Kate awake, so she tries to twirl away to Mimiloo. But she and her intrepid stuffed bunny sidekick Mim-Mim unexpectedly end up in Oz instead! The best friends soon learn that their twirl magic was stolen by Violet the Witch, who is determined to keep all the purple in Oz for herself. To get their magic back and return home, Kate and Mim-Mim must find the Wizard of Oz and ask for his help!

The vibrant animated series centers on 5-year-old Kate and her special friendship with her purple toy bunny, Mim-Mim. Thanks to Kate’s BIG imagination, the two friends are transported to the fun-filled world of Mimiloo, where her little toy bunny transforms into a larger-than-life playmate, and together they embark on exciting adventures with their colorful cast of friends. Kate & Mim-Mim is created by Scott and Julie Stewart, parents of the real Kate, who inspired the show, and produced by DHX Media in association with FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment.
