On October 16th, 2014, I was invited to an event to kick off the partnership between, SWASH, Levi’s and P&G. To help kick off the campaign, SWASH and Levi’s have partnered with celebrity stylist Kate Young, how is huge fan of vintage Levi’s.
What exactly is SWASH and how can it help you? I am glad that you want to know. Odds are that you have gotten up in the morning and found that your clothes were wrinkled and that you needed to get to ironing them. You just have the time and need to get out of the house or you are going to be late. Procter & Gamble and Whirlpool have come up with the machine for you. It is SWASH, it is an appliance that dewrinkles, refreshes, restores, and preserves your clothes on piece at a time. The device uses the combination of heat and a special solution that is held in the SWASH Pods (scents include: Recharge, Awaken, Unwind) to eliminate wrinkles and smells in your apparel without either damaging it or requiring time consuming care. The great part of this is that it takes roughly 10 minutes, it does not take water and it can handle delicate materials like cashmere and lace. It is a great way to save a favorite coat or sweater from the ravages of time.
The device is also very slim and can fit into any New York apartment because of its slick design. It retails for $499 an each 12-pack of pods is $7. This product will not remove stains. This machine will pay for itself in the amount that you can save on dry-cleaning alone.
It is available at Bloomingdales and Bed, Bath and Beyond.
