It has been a long time since I embarked on our journey to renovate our master bathroom. This renovation was several years in the making but things kept getting in the way. I wanted the next best thing in bathroom innovation and what better way that with a touchless toilet. Germs are sprayed up to 10 inches above the toilet seat with every open flush. Whenever you reach for the flush lever on your toilet, there’s a chance you’re coming in contact with a bacteria.

Kohler’s Touchless Toilet Technology aims to solve this problem with a wave of a hand. This motion detecting technology activates flushing when you place your hand over the sensor mounted under the tank lid. No touching, no surface germs, no flush handle. The Kohler Touchless Technology, a no touch sensor is mounted on the underside of the toilet tank lid. The sensor is powered by 4 AA batteries.

When you need to replace the batteries, the sensor unit with beep five times when activated. Touchless toilet flushing is simple and hassle free.
