It was a wonderful evening in New York when I got to attend the Riders by Lee party at the Skyglass Rooftop Bar to enjoy the food, fun and to check out the new Bounce Back Denim jeans.

All of the guests got the opportunity to try on different styles to see what best fits and which one they love the most. I loved the skinny leg cut since I am shorter. The jeans fit you snugly and after wearing them this evening for a few hours, it didn’t lose its shape and stayed fitted.

Beyond Basic Blue Jeans
Riders by Lee has always been a staple in my wardrobe – they’re durable, stylish, and fit my budget. What I didn’t realize is that Riders by Lee has gone far beyond your basic blue jeans.
I was recently given a pair of casual pants from the new Riders by Lee On-the-Go collection to try – wow! These definitely go beyond blue jeans or colored denim in style, fit, and wear-ability. Previously, I opted for Lee solely for casual wear: around the house, out to a movie, shopping, and general all-purpose casual situations.
The casual pants from the On-the-Go collection were a pleasant surprise. They have the appearance of more stylish wear, yet have the comfort of cozy blue jeans. I paired them with a cute long sleeve t-shirt and scarf for a casual outing to the pumpkin patch with my family; with my jogging shoes and tank for a brisk walk along the nature trail; and to church, with a stylish sweater and flats. I love the versatility they provide that way – one pair of pants can fit a variety of situations.
I also love the comfort – I’d recently put on a bit of extra weight, so I appreciate the subtle “give” that the pants offer. On my ‘not feeling so skinny” days, I don’t have to opt for leggings and an oversized top – I can still wear these and feel comfortable with the fit, and pulled together by appearance.
As a busy mom, I appreciate the wash-ability of the pants. I can easily toss them in with the washer with the regular laundry, and pop them in the dryer – no ironing needed.
Overall, the On-the-Go collection that Riders by Lee offers are a great staple to have in your wardrobe – and at a terrific price. Available at Wal-Mart, they’re an affordable addition as well.
