Nothing makes me happier than new skincare and makeup products. I love being able to find high-quality makeup at a fraction of the cost of other brands. So when I got the chance to try out some of the L’Oreal products, I was super excited.
After being able to try and play with the products up close and personal, let me tell you, that you will want to keep an eye out for these products in your store. Trust me when I saw you are going to want to keep an eye out for these.
L’Oreal Infallible 24 Hour Fresh Wear Foundation
Introducing L’Oreal’s breakthrough long-wear foundation with breathable-skin technology. Infallible Fresh Wear 24HR Foundation provides medium-to-full buildable coverage that lasts all day and allows the skin to breathe. The formula’s three oil absorbers resist sweat, water, and transfer. The ultra-thin liquid goes on smoothly to give a fresh, healthy-looking complexion that lasts. Color stays true and blends in evenly, so your makeup looks fresh all day. Non-comedogenic and formulated with SPF, this foundation is suitable for all skin types. In 30 shades for every skin tone.
L’oreal recently launched the newest addition to their infallible foundation line, Fresh Wear 24HR. It promises to be their most lightweight and breathable You can find shade descriptions as well as a shade finder on L’oreal’s website.
It contains the standard 1 fluid ounce of product and comes in a glass jar with a good pump. Good meaning that you can control the amount of product that you’re dispensing. The Infallible Pro Matte, Pro Glow, and Total Cover all come in plastic squeeze tubes so the glass bottle is a nice upgrade.
The formula is quite fluid. Because the formula is so thin, it feels very lightweight and breathable on the skin. It sets quickly and it’s very long wearing. Here’s my favorite part… it’s transfer proof! I’ve got a ton of hair. It’s fairly thick and makeup tends to get on it. This is the first foundation that does not get on my clothes. What a positive!!!
I love this foundation. It covers my skin imperfections without settling into fine lines and it feels weightless. It lasts all day and most importantly, it doesn’t ruin my clothes. I think that I’ll love it, even more, this summer when my skin is more oily. I think the formula is every bit as good as (or better than) the majority of my high-end foundations, for less than a third of the price.
L’Oreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer
L’Oréal Paris recently came out with a new full coverage concealer! Available in 25 shades, the Infallible Full Wear Concealer comes with an extra large applicator and provides maximum coverage in just one pass. The formula is said to be transfer-resistant, waterproof and non-greasy!
The coverage is perfect, this is by far the best coverage I’ve seen from a drugstore concealer! The formula is very pigmented and opaque. It can cover up pimples and other imperfections with only a tiny amount of product.
The finish is matte, which is great for spot concealing, but it can look dry around the eyes. If I forget to moisturize my skin, my eyes look years older at the end of the day! I like to apply a few dots on my dark circles, and then I pat the product with my fingertips. I am loving the long-lasting formula and that fact that my skin looks great.
L’Oreal Unlimited Mascara
L’Oréal Paris Unlimited Mascara is a lengthening and volumizing mascara. The dual-positioning brush can be used in the straight position like a regular mascara, or in the bent position to reach lashes at the inner corners of the eyes. The formula contains latex polymers to help stretch lashes and make them appear longer and thicker.
From the first stroke, I was pretty impressed. Unlimited coated my lashes in a beautiful glossy black weightless formula, that definitely lengthened and added volume. I found the consistency to be on the wetter side, but I didn’t have any transfer issues. I was able to layer a few coats with ease.
Now, let’s talk about the brush. I am still a little unsure about the whole bendy wand idea. I have never struggled to apply mascara in the normal way, but I can see how the wand can really allow you to get into the inner corners, and to assist applying mascara to the bottom lashes. With the combination of this and the great formula, Unlimited really is a step above.
I have always gotten on well with Loreal mascaras, and Unlimited is no exception. It delivered great length, a boost of volume and a beautiful jet black shade.
L’Oreal Revitalift Derm Intensives Hyaluronic Acid Serum
L’Oreal Revitalift Derm Intensives Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a new facial serum that promises to plump skin while restoring bounce and helping it to retain more moisture. Hyaluronic Acid has become the crème de la crème ingredient in most skincare for the past five or so years. It’s a popular ingredient that aids in keeping skin looking youthful not to mention it also allows aging skin to retain a good deal of moisture which gives the complexion a more youthful, smoother look.
It’s an ingredient that’s heavily featured in my own daily night routine as I really do feel like it keeps my drier skin much more hydrated and moist. And I do hope, as the years past, it’ll also keep my skin looking smooth and youthful.
I was happy to see L’Oreal embracing it in such a major way I’m happy to report L’Oreal Revitalift Derm Intensives Hyaluronic Acid Serum actually has zero fragrance. What sets this hyaluronic serum apart from others is its scientifically formulated blend. It boasts 0.5% high molecular weight hyaluronic acid which attracts and absorbs 1000x ambient moisture, as well as 1% low molecular weight hyaluronic acid which penetrates deeply into the skin to visibly plump it.
Immediately, you’ll notice deeply replenished skin hydration, as well as skin that feels more supple and looks smoother. With continued use over a week, expect younger-looking skin that is visibly plumped, and skin that feels firmer, more elastic, and bouncy. Unlike some serums that can leave behind an uncomfortable residue, Derm Intensives 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum absorbs quickly with no tacky residue or feel. Sensitive skin types can also rejoice because this serum contains no parabens, mineral oil, or synthetic dyes has been tested on every skin type and is fragrance-free.
All you have to do is apply 2-3 drops to your face and neck, morning and evening for a well-rested appearance and a suppler complexion.
L’Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Mist
L’oreal’s Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Mist is a great product for the upcoming summer. I have been on the hunt for a good self-tanning product. There are lots and lots of self-tanning products that can be found in the drugstore, some better than others, lots of gradual ones, not too many instants however. I picked up L’oreal Sublime Mousse, it comes in an attractive curvy bottle.
This self-tanning products comes with a cute nozzle head, I have this in the color “Medium”, which is the middle tone. The bottle reads “the first salon quality tan from L’oreal Paris, Sublime Bronze Express Pro Salon Airbrush Self-Tanning Mist with breakthrough airbrush system gives you professional inspired airbrush tanning results at home. New salon inspired wide angle jet applicator provides continuous 360 coverage. The super-fine mist applicator applies evenly and flash-dries, so there is no need to rub in.” It goes onto say “100% natural looking even, sunless tan begins to develop in less than an hour, smooth streak-free, even looking golden skin tone, covers a greater area of skin at one time, a light citrus-fresh scent for pleasant application.
I am loving all these new products. Have you tried any, let me know what you think?
