When I travel, one of the hardest things is trying to get a bag that fits my laptop and all of its cords and accessories. The perfect women’s laptop tote to me would be something that would not only hold my laptop and charger, but a bag that could also house my essentials, such as my keys, wallet, mobile phone, digital camera, and a pen. I am not coordinated enough to carry two bags, so when I need to carry one bag.  I like a bag that looks polished, but is also versatile and perhaps does not outwardly look like a laptop bag.

I was lucky enough to get to review two great bags from Mobile Edge:

Herringbone Element Briefcases

Designed for the mobile woman, Mobile Edge unveiled Herringbone Element Briefcases; a new line of chic and stylish yet checkpoint-friendly notebook and tablet cases. The ScanFast Element models are designed with dedicated notebook and tablet compartments. The Herringbone v-shaped weave is accented with black Koskin trim, contrast stitching and polished nickel fittings. It’s functional too with extra zippered compartments, a trolley strap, a detachable padded shoulder strap and an exterior pocket.

One great feature, that you can’t really see, is its Wireless Security Shield built into the accessories pocket. It’s lined with zinc fibers that shield your Bluetooth signal from prying hackers.

The ScanFast Herringbone Element Briefcases by Mobile Edge come in two sizes, and weigh less than 3 pounds each. The smaller model MESFEBHS  and is designed to hold notebooks up to 14.1” – although apparently the newer 15-inch MacBook Pro will fit; the larger model, MESFEBHL, and holds 16-inch laptops.
