A little more than a month ago,  I was introduced to the Olay Skin Advisor Tool as part of this great study. I had never heard of it before but was eager for this study. I know my skin is has some areas that need some work so I was excited to see what would come up.

To start, I visited the Olay Skin Advisor Tool site on my phone. The experience relies on a tablet or smartphone to work properly since you need to snap a picture of your face. For the best results, upload a picture of yourself with no makeup on. After you snap your picture, the Skin Advisor will analyze your color, eye lines, wrinkles, and more which gives you an age estimate.

I was pleased when the results came back that my skin was younger. The tool noticed some puffiness under my eyes and a little discoloration around that area which I agree with. It then suggested a group of Olay skin brightening products I could purchase at Walmart to help improve my skin’s appearance.

They suggested a two step program that included Olay Luminous Brightening Foaming Cleanser and Olay Eyes for Dark Circles.

Before I started the new skincare routine, I always like to test a product out to make sure that the formulation agrees with my sometimes sensitive skin. I decided to start with the Olay Luminous Skin Cleanser.

This product was easy to find in the skincare aisle and features new packaging.

I have been struggling with skin discoloration so I was hoping that this product could help. I used it for just over 28 days daily. The creamy, gentle abrasive wash was perfect for keeping my dry skin away. I also saw fewer breakouts.

The next product was to use the Olay Eyes at night and see if that puffiness was decrease which it did over the 28 days of the study.

Before I started the study, I was definitely short changing myself because I also noticed a reduction in blackheads and a more vibrant complexion since using this cream based cleanser. I have also seen an improvement in my skin tone. I will continue to use the system, so I can achieve optimal results.
