On Wednesday, April 20, 2016, Citizen Watch US and Revolve Cycling Studio came together to host the “Ride for Light” event in New York City, in celebration of its 40th anniversary, and support of Habitat for Humanity in NYC. The event combined exercise, fun and light. The event was held in front of the Flatiron building to spin away and create a light show in the middle of Manhattan as you light up strands of colored light to illuminate a globe suspended above. It also is great that this event was a few days before Earth Day.
This celebration of light and energy is being held to benefit Habitat for Humanity NYC. Citizen Watch wanted to support their mission to brighten up lives by building energy-efficient affordable homes for families in need. This organization builds, renovates, and repairs homes across the five boroughs. Citizen will be donating to Habitat for Humanity NYC to support their mission to build homes around the area.
The Eco-Drive technology has been lighting up our watches for 40 years. The event was so much fun their was a photo booth with sharing capabilities to show off your photo from the event on social media.
