The Kansas City Chiefs arrived in Miami on Sunday all decked out in their Hawaiian shirts. The players did this to honor their head coach Andy Reid who always wore tropical shirts when going to Florida or Hawaii for the Pro Bowl.
This is the second time that Coach Reid will get a chance at a championship ring. The flag hanging outside of the front window of the United plan as they reached the hanger just outside Miami International Airport had two words accompanying the team logo: Chiefs Kingdom. The Chiefs are led by QB Patrick Mahomes. He threw for 4,031 yards and 26 touchdowns against five interceptions in 14 regular season games. The reigning MVP is looking to take all of that and turn it into a win on Sunday.
The Chiefs are playing in just their third Super Bowl in franchise history. It is going to be a busy week leading up to Super Bowl Sunday.
