Disclosure: I received a swag box of products for attending The Toy Insider Sweet Suite event. All opinions expressed here are my own.
I have been attending Sweet Suite since its inception. It is a big event in the summer when we come together to learn about the hottest new toys. This year again it was a virtual event, but it did not take away from the fun. It featured over fifty of the top toy companies in the industry.
The event itself was set up as a virtual event. You got to walk around and enter different zoom rooms and chat with the companies. Some of the companies did live demos, and some showed us how to play the games. Many of the companies sent out invitations before the event so that you could arrange special times to meet with the team.
I already had a few brands in mind that I had to visit. They are my favorite and always have some of the best new toys of the season.
It is always a pleasure to get a chance to hear Laurie Schacht, Chief Toy Officer of The Toy Insider talk about trends and the state of the toy industry.
They were some incredible releases this year that included:
- PAW Patrol: the Movie? Spin Master‘s new playset is its tallest one yet and will bring the movie to life!
- The Pokémon Company International as they demo new 25th anniversary-themed Pokémon Trading Card Game products for the first time ever!
- Joined Jazwares for some “pre-westoric” fun as they demo the new Dino Ranch toy line, inspired by the popular animated children’s series!
- Witnessed the first-ever unveiling of a cutting-edge kit from Make It Real that takes your manis and pedis to a whole new level.
- Embarked on an educational adventure with LeapFrog as they show you their brand-new LeapLand Adventures learning video game!
Thanks again to the Toy Insider for inviting me to be part of this virtual trade show to meet new brands, rekindle relationship with current ones. It is going to be a great holiday season and I can’t wait to see everyone in person next year.
