A few weeks ago I had an amazing opportunity to attend a special brunch with The Irish Fairy Door Company. This is a company that was started a little over 2 years ago in Ireland and was founded by friends Niamh Sherwin Barry and Aoife Lawler, along with their husbands Oisin and Gavin.
This amazing toy is now coming to us from abroad.
Each little door is handmade from wood and are portals to a magical world. Your child will be delighted about the magic of having a new fairy friend. The Fairy Door Company has thought about it all and it shows in every package. Every little fairy door comes with little stepping stones to lead up to their magical door, a fairy lease/agreement that will help explain how to take care of your new fairy, a little magical bottle that holds a tiny key that is left out on the first night and if it’s gone the next morning, it means that a new fairy friend has moved in all the way from Ireland. A notepad so your child can send little notes to their fairy friend and the Fairy welcome guide, that explains how to register your new fairy friend online so you can receive weekly updates on your fairy and where you can give her a name.
This is so exciting. Each little door is a gateway to new traditions and memories. I loved that I had the opportunity to talk to the founders and listen to how much they have invested in the company and the love that they have for it. It is also great to see that they have partnered with the Children’s Starlight Foundation, to help improve the quality of life and health of kids and families around the world.
We each got to take one of these great kits home and it has now become one of our favorite toys.
We all need a little magic in our lives, so I am proud to be able to give away one of these kits to a lucky reader.
