I got the opportunity to speak with Keech Combe-Shetty and here are some of the important facts that you need to know.

At the Vagisil BlogHer Health’ 18  booth entitled “Women: Never Shut Up”,  Vagisil empowered women with the information and effective solutions they needed to be shameless about vaginal health by reducing the stigma surrounding vaginal health. Bloggers stopped by the booth to see live demos, participate in a Vagina IQ (VIQ) survey and add their voice to the wall.

During #BlogHer18 Health, bloggers had  the opportunity to stop by the “Women: Never Shut Up” booth and participate in the Vagina IQ (VIQ) survey to gauge their understanding of vaginal health habits and sexual wellness practices. Attendees who visited the booth were given variety of Vagisil’s products.

In support of  Vagisil’s efforts to encourage women to be shameless about their vaginal health, Dr. Shannon Chavez, a nationally recognized sex therapist was present at the  booth answering questions, one-on-one, about women’s sexual health and wellness.

The Vagina IQ survey was developed to encourage women to be shameless about their vaginal health. The survey gauges attendees’ understanding of vaginal health habits and sexual wellness practices. During #BlogHer18 Health, bloggers will have the opportunity to stop by our Vagisil booth and participate in the survey.

Results include:

-43% of women use lubricants or vaginal moisturizers to prep for sex.
– 69% of women think vaginal products with fragrances irritate vaginal skin
-43% of women say odor is an issue.
-79 % of women think vaginal health is very important to overall health, 95% do not typically talk about their vagina.
-45% of women are too embarrassed or ashamed to discuss vaginal issues even with their doctor.
-55% of women use a product for cleaning their vaginal area but only 22% actually use products specifically designed for it.
-Emergency contraception is still very hush-hush most women think less than 20% of us have used it. Fact is more than 30% of us have.
